The Committee on National Security and Defense recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the bill to amend article 8 of the Law “On the Procedure of Admission and Conditions of Stay of Foreign Armed Forces Subdivisions on the Territory of Ukraine”

The bill (Reg. No. 11388), submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers, supplements article 8 of the Law “On the Procedure of Admission and Conditions of Stay of Foreign Armed Forces Subdivisions on the Territory of Ukraine” with a new part, under which the proposal to admit foreign armed forces subdivisions to the territory of Ukraine for participation in multi-national trainings with participation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of Ukraine and their multinational trainings outside the territory of Ukraine for the current year shall be submitted to the President of Ukraine for approval.

People’s deputies supported the bill, the adoption of which will allow for acceleration of decision-making processes and improvement of regulatory basis.
